Heart Scan* (Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring)

For Early Detection Of Heart Disease

Qualify for the screening if you are age 40+ with one or more of the following risk factors:

Current or former smoker
Diabetes
Family history of heart disease (parent or sibling)
Abnormal cholesterol (such as high cholesterol or low HDL)
High blood pressure or are being treated for high blood pressure

*Scans are simple, non-invasive computer tomography (CT) screenings that use a minimal amount of radiation.

For Early Detection Of Lung Cancer

You may qualify if you meet all of the following criteria:

Age: 50+
Pack Years: Have averaged smoking at least 1 pack of cigarettes per day for 20 years
Asymptomatic: No signs or symptoms of lung cancer

Those who qualify for a Lung Scan also qualify for the Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA)* Vascular Screening for an additional $10.

*Scans are simple, non-invasive computer tomography (CT) screenings that use a minimal amount of radiation.

*The AAA vascular screening uses an ultrasound to detect a bulge in the aorta, the main blood vessel that runs from your heart down through your torso. A bulge may indicate a weakness in the aorta artery wall.
