Chest Pain Centers
During a heart attack, minutes matter. That's why Franciscan Health created its dedicated Chest Pain Centers for emergency heart care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Chest Pain Center: Around-the-Clock Cardiac Care
During a heart attack, blocked blood vessels prevent oxygen from getting to the heart. Tissue is lost, and the heart muscle is dying. Minutes matter. That’s why Franciscan Health has taken treatment for chest pain to a higher level through its dedicated Chest Pain Centers.
The emergency and cardiac teams at each Chest Pain Center are available around-the-clock to stop a heart attack in its tracks with quick diagnosis and intervention, preventing further damage to the heart.
Accredited by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care
Franciscan Health Chest Pain Centers were among the first to be accredited in Indiana and Illinois. Accreditation by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care means that you can be confident that we have the right specialists, processes and equipment in place to provide the highest level of care for patients experiencing chest pain.
