Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Program
Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization gives behavioral health patients a safe, supportive environment to help in the transition from inpatient to outpatient care.
Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Eases the Transition into Outpatient Care
Franciscan Health offers full day Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) for both adults and adolescents who need a transition from inpatient care to outpatient counseling. It is also offered for individuals suffering from emotional or behavioral problems that do not require inpatient hospitalization.
The Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Program provides treatment for individuals who are experiencing significant disruptions or difficulties within their family, marriage, work, school or social functioning. These programs are also designed to help prevent unnecessary inpatient admissions.
PHP allows patients to spend their day going through a variety of therapies and treatment sessions as determined by their physician and our behavioral health team. In the evening, they return to the comforts of their own home to begin utilizing the skills they are learning in treatment.
