Patients are seen daily by a board certified psychiatrist. Patient care is Registered Nurse-driven in conjunction with registered occupational therapists, master's-level social workers and nursing and therapy assistants. Our Psychiatric Unit only admits adults 18 years of age and older. All admissions must be referred and voluntary.
Helping people regain their stability and productivity
Mental health disorders affect millions of US adults each year. Family difficulties, career pressures or even a single traumatic event can cause emotional and mental conditions. A person in crisis may experience anxiety, depression, thought disturbances, loss of self-worth or, in extreme situations, contemplation of self-destructive behaviors.
We understand these difficulties and have the professional expertise to help people regain their stability and learn to cope.

Adults 18 and older only
Our Psychiatric Unit only admits adults 18 years of age and older. All admissions must be voluntary.
Our mission is to provide quality, individualized, intensive treatment for the patient with acute psychiatric needs.
The environment is on a separate unit where the therapeutic environment and program benefit the patient's treatment process.
We aspire to the principles of recovery:
Patient and family centered care
The potential for recovery
Being admitted for mental health care can be a scary thing. Our unit only accepts admissions recommended by a physician or therapist. Sometimes, this happens following a visit to a hospital emergency room. Other times, you'll be admitted following a recommendation from your physician.
All of our admissions are voluntary, meaning no patient is ever forced into our unit. If possible, bring a friend or relative with you when you come to our hospital. They can give you support and stay with you during the admission process. They also may be able to give the nursing staff useful information, and make a note of items you have forgotten to bring in.
Short-term intensive therapy treatment includes:
Evaluation of psychiatric condition
