Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Renewal is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that allows participants to enhanc their skills in treating adult victims of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. The course reinforces the important concepts of basic life support, ACLS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. The goal of the ACLS course is to improve the quality of care provided, resulting in improved outcomes.
This four-hour renewal class emphasizes and teaches the importance of identifying problems and early intervention for adult victims of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergency. Ideal for physicians, nurses, paramedics and other allied health professionals who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of an adult patient whether in or out of the hospital.
Fees and registration
This is a single day renewal course that meets from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you have not been certified you will need to register for the ACLS Provider Course. Cost for the renewal course for non-hospital based employees is $150 for the ACLS including BLS renewal; advanced registration is required. Recommended for all physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, paramedics and any other health care professional involved in resuscitation efforts.
