Am I Safe from Having a Heart Attack? - Columbus
Location: Columbus Public Library
536 5th Street
Columbus, IN 47201
Presented by: Soo Park, MD
While family history plays a part in our risk for heart and vascular disease, we can take many steps to reduce our chances of having a heart attack. First up: know your numbers, including resting heart rate, blood pressure and cholesterol, both good (HDL) and bad (LDL). Then learn how diet, exercise and medications can lower your risk of heart disease.
During this program, Dr. Park will talk about recognizing the signs and symptoms of heart attack and stroke and preventing one from even happening.
