First aid is the immediate care that is given to someone with an illness or injury before trained help arrives or takes over. Trained help includes someone whose job it taking care of people who are ill or injured such as an EMS responder, nurse or doctor. Actions during the first minutes of an emergency can be critical. First aid is a valuable skill often given for minor injuries or illnesses, and in some cases heart attack and bleeding. First aid provided can mean the difference between life and death; quick recovery or a long illness. Cost for participants is $50. The fee covers all course materials.
Payment is due at the time of registration.
Enrollment is limited, so early registration is advised. Fees are non-refundable and can be used to reschedule one time.
