Heartsaver First Aid Course with CPR/AED (Indianapolis area)

The Heartsaver First Aid certification course is a two-evening class and is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest, injury or sudden illness until medical help arrives. Participants are certified in CPR, the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and basic First Aid for adults, children and infants.
- Preparedness (how to get help, safety, finding the problem, rescue breathing)
- Medical Emergencies (breathing problems, heart attack, stroke, seizures, shock, severe allergic reactions)
- Injury Emergencies (bleeding, wounds, broken bones, burns)
- Environmental Emergencies (bites and stings, poison, heat and cold)
All classes are 6 to 9:30 p.m.
Participants may choose to attend just one evening or both.
CPR/AED is taught the first night and First Aid is taught the second night.
