Mended Hearts is a national organization that offers regular visits and gives encouragement to persons with heart problems, and those who are anticipating or recovering from heart surgery or procedures. Our volunteers are those who have survived heart disease and are healthy. With physician approval, Mended Hearts accredited volunteers visit patients, caregivers and families in hospitals to offer encouragement and hope.

Chapter 78 of the local Mended Hearts Program in Indianapolis meets at 5:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month at the Franciscan Health Indianapolis Heart Center Community Room. Speakers include Franciscan Health physicians and staff.
