Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. The goal of the PALS course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.
This program is open to all physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, paramedics and any other health care professional in volved in resuscitation efforts.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider Course takes place TWO DAYS back-to-back, running 8 a.m. to 4 p.m both days.
Class Fees and Registration
Advanced registration is required. Fees for non-hospital employees are $200 for the provider class or $135 for the PALS including the BLS recertification class. Call (317) 528-8473 to register or for more information.
