Stethoscope Series - Signs, Symptoms, Treatment and Management of Concussions (Carmel)

Location: Carmel Clay Public Library

55 4th Street
Carmel, IN 46032

From the NFL to grade school soccer, concussions are a hot topic. A concussion is a blow or jolt to the head that can affect the way your brain normally works. Most people who sustain a concussion are back to normal within three months or sooner, but others have long-term problems remembering things, trouble concentrating or experience debilitating headaches. Early diagnosis and treatment can lead to better outcomes.

Join Dr. Sachin Mehta, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist at Franciscan Physician Network and learn the warning signs and symptoms of concussion, health concerns afterward and post-recovery plans. He will also discuss innovative treatments being used at Franciscan Health.

This event is free and is a part of The Stethoscope Series. Registration is preferred. To register, call (877) 888-1777, or make your reservation online. Light refreshments will be served.
