Virtual Advanced Labor Support

Location: Online Event

Indianapolis, IN 46237

Are you hoping for childbirth with little to no drug intervention? You CAN have it, and a little preparation goes a long way in, building your confidence. There are numerous methods of managing pain and improving comfort during labor. Not all strategies will be helpful for all women, but having the tools in the toolbox before you are laboring eases anxiety and builds confidence in your body’s innate ability to give birth. When labor begins, you’ll have in mind several options and can use what feels good.

Our Virtual Advanced Labor Support class will be helpful to all expectant mothers, whether ultimately choosing a natural childbirth or anesthesia. Taking an interactive approach, couples will work together while learning and practicing breathing and relaxation, coping techniques, comfort suggestions, and comfortable positions for labor.

Cost is $25 per couple*. Preregistration is required for all programs. Classes fill very quickly. Registering during your fourth month of pregnancy will assure you the widest selection of class dates and times. Please dress comfortably, bring a pillow and water bottle with you to the virtual class and be prepared to be physically active throughout the class.

For more information on class content, scheduling and to preregister for your classes, please call (317) 528-8473 Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

*All fees for our birthing classes cover two persons (ex. mom and a support person).
