Yoga - Indianapolis (5 pm class)

Yoga is a mind-body therapy that connects the body, breath and mind to energize and balance the whole person. It uses physical postures, breathing exercises and meditation to improve overall well-being. Yoga utilitzes breathing lessons, different postures and meditation. The many benefits include lower blood pressure, relaxation, reduced stress and anxiety, increased flexibility, posture and many more. It is often suggested by doctors to reduce stress in people with high blood pressure and heart disease, and to improve flexibility in people with arthritis.
These yoga classes are designed for all skill levels and are open to the community. Participants are required to fill out a yoga fitness questionnaire at their first class (see attached). You may also fill it out ahead of time. Cost is $10 for single session; $80 for a 10-session pass; $50 for monthly unlimited. Payment for classes may be made out by check at the yoga session.
