Chris Carrington, Franciscan Alliance Cloud Architect, Honored At Annual Tech 25 Awards
INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – Christopher Carrington of Franciscan Alliance Information Services (FAIS) is among the honorees selected for the 2019 Tech 25 Awards presented by TechPoint.
Carrington, an enterprise cloud architect for the Mishawaka, Indiana-based Franciscan Alliance hospital system, has been recognized for his exceptional work performance, leadership by example and community service. He and other Tech 25 Class members were in the limelight during a recent event with the Indianapolis Business Journal and its annual CTO of the Year awards in downtown Indianapolis.
"Chris has consistently proven to be the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable contributor to every project in which he has been associated," said Charles Wagner, senior vice president and chief information officer for FAIS. "His ability to apply critical thinking to complex business problems has time and again resulted in outcomes that exceed initial expectations."
Carrington is widely experienced in the design and development of web and interactive voice response-based patient bill payment systems, clinical decision support applications and developing systems to aid Franciscan Alliance's statewide population health management efforts.
An Indianapolis resident, Carrington has been associated with FAIS for more than 18 years. He is the former CEO of a locally owned hardware store, and has served on the board of the Friends of Indianapolis Animal Care Foundation and as an officer with the Beech Grove Promoters Club.
Now in its fifth year, the Tech 25 Awards honorees are selected by a panel of independent judges in the categories of technology product/research and development, sales and marketing and professional services.
