LAFAYETTE/CRAWFORDSVILLE/RENSSELAER, Indiana - Franciscan Health has lifted temporary visitor restrictions at its hospitals in Lafayette, Crawfordsville and Rensselaer, as of Wednesday, April 4, 2018.
While hospital officials say this does not mean the end of the flu season is being declared, there has been a sufficient decline in cases in the community to return to normal visiting hours.
Franciscan Health implemented the restrictions on Dec. 28, 2017, in the wake of a significant surge of flu cases in Western Indiana.
