What Is A HydraFacial Treament?
A HydraFacial treatment is a hydradermabrasion procedure that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection simultaneously, resulting in clearer, more beautiful skin with no discomfort or downtime.
Like microdermabrasion, a tool helps exfoliate the skin and remove impurities, but without using crystals or abrasive chemicals to do so. It uses a suction like vacuum to get rid of dead skin, clogged pores, and reveal more radiant new skin. The difference is with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums are applied to the skin during this process. Hydration is the foundation of healthy, radiant skin. Irritation of skin has been proven to increase signs of aging.

What Are the Steps of a HydraFacial?
Cleansing and Exfoliation
By using a deplaning tool, the HydraFacial will sweep away all the dead skin cells and debris, such as makeup. It will also help to open your pores – the first step to increased skin hydration.
Our acid peel is different than most in that it won’t sting or leave you feeling uncomfortable. The acid peel on your skin is gentle enough to go unnoticed; some may feel the faintest tingle, but it does not cause discomfort.
One of the most fascinating parts of the treatment is the extraction stage. This type of extraction uses a nozzle that acts as a vacuum, sucking gunk out of your clogged pores. Unlike during traditional facials, we forego performing manual extractions for a less painful and irritating option. During this step of your HydraFacial, our aesthetician will perform an elaborate vortex-extraction.
Another tool used during your HydraFacial is called the vortex-fusion tool. This tool applies a collagen and antioxidant serum into the skin to promote hydration and elasticity. Usually, serums can leave your face feeling like it’s burning; however, our serum is designed to promote wellness in and on your skin, leaving all chances of redness and irritation behind.
What are Side Effects of HydraFacial Treatments?
After a HydraFacial treatment, you may experience tingling and stinging in the treatment area. These sensations generally subside within a few hours.
Your skin may experience temporary irritation, tightness or redness after a HydraFacial. These are all normal reactions that typically resolve within 72 hours, depending on skin sensitivity.
The skin is more susceptible to sunburn and sun damage after your HydraFacial treatment. Avoid excessive sun exposure and use a minimum of SPF 40 sunscreen.
Is There Downtime After a HydraFacial?
You may put on makeup and return to your normal activities right after the treatment since there is no downtime.
How Long Do the Results of a HydraFacial Last?
You will likely see results immediately after your HydraFacial treatment, and your skin may feel smooth and hydrated for one to four weeks with appropriate home care to maintain treatment results. Many clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, more radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or longer.
How Often Should I Have a HydraFacial?
Continued HydraFacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain skin health results. One treatment per month is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, oily and congested skin.
