Merrillville Rotary Club Donation to Franciscan Health St. Clare Health Clinic Crown Point Helps Patients In Need During The Holidays

CROWN POINT, Indiana - The Merrillville Rotary Club continued its Thanksgiving tradition of donating to those in need by delivering $1,500 in Strack & Van Til gift cards to Franciscan Health St. Clare Health Clinic Crown Point. The clinic will use the gift cards to supplement donations to its food pantry and feed the families of patients during the holidays.
Merrillville Rotary Club President Mary Wright said this is the seventh year the organization has raised funds for clinic patients, and the donation comes strictly from internal fundraisers by club members. "Rotary's mantra is service above self, so we're really happy we can help," she said.
The St. Clare Health Clinic, at 1121 Indiana Avenue in Crown Point, is a primary care provider of non-emergency services with an emphasis on prevention, early detection, patient education, physical exams and health screenings. The clinic also serves those who endure hardship to access quality healthcare. For clinic hours, call (219) 663-2160.
