INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – Naveed Aslam Rana, MD, has joined Franciscan Physician Network Oncology & Hematology Specialists Indianapolis.
He joins a team of physicians and advanced practice providers who care for patients at Franciscan Health Cancer Center in Indianapolis, Columbus, Franklin, Mooresville and Rushville. Dr. Rana will see patients in Mooresville on Mondays and Fridays and will see them Tuesdays. Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Dr. Rana specializes in treating lung, gastrointestinal and breast cancers.
Board-certified in hematology and oncology, Dr. Rana most recently was on staff with Kent Hospital in Warwick, Rhode Island, where he was chief of the Division of Hematology/Oncology.
Dr. Rana earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, and completed a residency in internal medicine at Roger Williams Medical Center – Boston University in Providence, Rhode Island. He worked as a hospitalist at nearby hospitals prior to completing a hematology/oncology fellowship also at Roger Williams Medical Center – Boston University.
