WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana – A new physician and nurse practitioner have joined the staff at Franciscan Physician Network Family Medicine West Lafayette.
Alexandre Efimov, MD, and Lisa A. Turner, RN, FNP, join a team of physicians and advanced care providers whose offices are located at 915 Sagamore Parkway West, West Lafayette. The clinicians offer comprehensive primary care services for infants through seniors.
Dr. Efimov most recently completed a family medicine residency at Cedar Rapids Medical Education Foundation in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from York University in Toronto, Canada, and earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica.
Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Efimov was active in giving clinical presentations during medical school. He is a member of the American Association of Family Physicians.
Turner most recently served at the critical access facility in Williamsport, Indiana, where she provided primary care to all ages and to chronically ill patients. Prior to that, she worked with Franciscan Physician Network in Lafayette as a nurse practitioner, managing patients with acute and chronic health conditions.
Board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, she received her undergraduate degree in nursing from the Indiana University School of Nursing in Indianapolis, where she later earned her master's degree in nursing.
