INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – Cecilia M. Capes, MD, has joined Franciscan Physician Network South 31 Family Care.

Dr. Capes most recently completed a family medicine residency with Franciscan Health. As a resident, she also volunteered to provide sports physicals for inner city school children.

A resident of Indianapolis, she received her undergraduate and master's degrees in biology from the Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. She earned her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean in Cupecoy, St. Maarten, where she was active in educational and social outreach programs to the needy.

Dr. Capes is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
