LAFAYETTE, Indiana - Cody Nelson, NP, has joined Franciscan Physician Network Outpatient Behavioral Health Center Lafayette.
He joins a team of physicians and advanced care providers who offer therapy and psychiatric services to adults. Their offices are located at 1116 North 16th Street, Suite B, Lafayette.
Board-certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, Nelson most recently worked as a nurse at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. Prior to that, he was a psychiatric care associate, where he facilitated therapy groups, assisted geriatric patients and initiated admissions for new patients.
Nelson received an associate degree in nursing from Ivy Tech Community College and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Indiana University. He earned a master's in nursing with a focus on psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner training.
