LAFAYETTE, Indiana - In partnership with Franciscan Health, the new Lafayette Family YMCA officially opened its doors on December 6, 2018. This partnership was forged in order to better serve Lafayette with innovative fitness and healthcare services. Located at 3001 South Creasy Lane, on the Lafayette Ivy Tech campus, this new facility will provide a combination of both fitness and healthcare to serve a wide variety of needs in the community.

On the main floor of the facility will be the Franciscan Physician Network Primary Care and Sports Medicine offices. In these offices will be Dr. Gregory Rowdon, who specializes in sports medicine, and Dr. Emily Krodel, who will split her time between primary care and sports medicine. Their first day to see patients in the new building will be December 17, 2018.

The second floor will have Franciscan Health Outpatient Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Sports Medicine. In that area there will be private treatment rooms and space for orthopedic and sports medicine services, pelvic health rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, brain injury rehabilitation, concussion treatment, lymphedema services and more. In addition, massage therapy services will also be available. These services include Swedish, deep-tissue, craniosacral, pregnancy, and sports massages. Therapy Services will also open to patients on December 17.
