Franciscan Health Hosts Cooking Matters Class On May 21 In Rensselaer

RENSSELAER, Ind. – Franciscan Health in collaboration with Purdue University Extension, Strack & Van Til Food Market, Indy Hunger Network and CookingMatters.org will be hosting a class entitled “Cooking Matters” on Wednesday, May 21 from 11 AM to 12:30 PM at the Jasper County Fairgrounds in Rensselaer.
The class highlights healthy, affordable recipes, tips for budget-friendly grocery shopping, proper cooking techniques, saving time in the kitchen, options for selective eaters, general nutrition tips and more.
Participants will prepare and taste a new recipe made with healthy ingredients.
Families with children ages seven and older are encouraged to attend this free event together.
