Franciscan Home Health Lafayette Earns 2025 SHPBest™ ‘Superior Performer’ Patient Experience Award

LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Franciscan Home Health Lafayette has been recognized by Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP) as a “Superior Performer” for achieving an overall patient experience score that ranked in the top 20% of all eligible SHP clients for the 2025 calendar year.
“We are very honored to receive this award from Strategic Healthcare Programs,” said Julia Capps, director, home health services at Franciscan Health. “The team in Lafayette does an amazing job and exemplifies the mission and values of Franciscan each and every day. Home health is a very important part of our ministry and is a great service to be able to provide to the community.”
The annual SHPBest™ award program was created to acknowledge home health agencies that consistently provide high quality service to their patients. The 2025 award recipients were determined by reviewing and ranking the overall experience score for more than 3,200 home health providers. With the largest Home Health Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HHCAHPS) benchmark in the nation, SHP is in a unique position to identify and recognize organizations that have made patient experience a priority and have been rewarded for their efforts with high marks on the HHCAHPS survey.
“Providing excellent patient care takes relentless effort and our SHPBest award winners embody that every year,” said Jason Ballet, president of SHP. “This program lets us recognize the organizations that never settle, that keep improving the patient and caregiver experience even when they're already performing at a high level. That kind of commitment deserves to be celebrated.”
The Franciscan Home Health Lafayette team actively pursues excellence in customer experience scores with a multi-disciplinary group including leaders and home health clinicians, regularly reviewing monthly scores and identifying strategies for improved experience for their patients.
