Franciscan Physician Network In Merrillville Announces Office, Physician Changes

MERRILLVILLE, Indiana - Following the retirement of longtime pediatrician Clark Kramer, MD, Franciscan Physician Network has closed the clinic at 300 West 80th Place in Merrillville.

In conjunction with this change, nurse practitioner Kimberly Lichtenfeld, NP-C, will continue seeing patients at Franciscan Physician Network Winfield Health Center, 11161 Randolph Street, Crown Point; and infectious disease physician Suk Chul Kim, MD, will move to Franciscan Physician Network Crown Point Internal Medicine and Specialty Center, in the Burrell Professional Building, 1205 South Main Street, Suite 201, Crown Point.

Nurse Practitioner Lichtenfeld received her Masters of Science in Nursing at Purdue University Northwest. Her clinical interests include obesity and nutrition, pediatric wellness and immunizations, diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, asthma and allergies and autism. Dr. Kim received his training at Hanyang University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea. He did his residency at St. Johns Episcopal Hospital, Far Rockaway, New York, and fellowship at University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York.
