CROWN POINT, Indiana - Little Green Apple Hallmark of Crown Point recently donated more than 300 Itty Bitty plush, stuffed animals to the Prenatal Assistance program at Franciscan Health St. Clare Health Clinic Crown Point.

"For the last several weeks, we invited customers to purchase an Itty Bitty and then the store would donate an Itty Bitty for each one purchased. Many customers also donated the one they purchased when they learned it was to help local children," said Linda O’Leary, store manager.

Christine Gesiakowski, prenatal program coordinator, added, "So many of the families have children who would otherwise not receive anything new to play with. The children will be delighted to receive these toys. We are very grateful."

The prenatal program, since 2002, has provided free services for expectant area women who have limited income. It is located at the clinic, 1121 South Indiana Avenue, Crown Point. For more information, call (219) 663-5349.
