INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - Hisham Allababidi, MD, has opened a new Carmel office of Franciscan Physician Network Diabetes & Endocrinology Specialists.

He is part of a team of physicians and advanced practice providers who treat adults who have diabetes, thyroid conditions or endocrine disorders. The Carmel office is located at Franciscan Health Carmel, 12188-B North Meridian Street, Suite 250, Carmel, 46032.

Board-certified in endocrinology, Dr. Allababidi was on staff with Deaconess Health System in Evansville, Ind. before joining Franciscan Health.

Dr. Allababidi earned his medical degree from the Damascus University School of Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Following that, he completed a fellowship in endocrinology at Wayne State University in Detroit.
