INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – Igor Wanko Mboumi, MD, has joined Franciscan Physician Network Indy Southside Surgical.
He joins a team of highly skilled general surgeons and advanced practice providers, whose offices are located at 5255 E. Stop 11 Road, Suite 450, Indianapolis. The group uses the latest surgical techniques, including minimally invasive procedures for bariatric surgery, colorectal disease and other digestive tract disorders.
Dr. Wanko Mboumi most recently completed a fellowship at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. There, he received advanced training in bariatric surgery/gastrointestinal minimally invasive surgery and robotic surgery procedures. Previously, he completed an internship and residency in general surgery at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia.
Dr. Wanko Mboumi received his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland and earned his medical degree at State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.
