Northwest Indiana Doctor Gives To Franciscan Health To Help Those Who Most Need It

CROWN POINT, Indiana - Gustavo Galante, MD, a locally based, board-certified plastic surgeon, recently donated $800 to the Franciscan Health Burrell Cancer Center Crown Point during the holiday season.
A portion of proceeds from breast surgeries he performed during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, was collected to assist women who are in need of breast care services, but cannot afford them. "I hope I can serve as an example for other doctors to also give so others can be helped in this way," Dr. Galante,said.
