Physician, Nurse Practitioner Join Franciscan Family Medicine West Lafayette

WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana – Kamlesh Kaul, MD, and Rebecca J. Hauck, NP, have joined Franciscan Physician Network Family Medicine West Lafayette.

They join a team of physicians and advanced practice providers who provide comprehensive clinical services for all ages, infants through seniors. Their offices are conveniently located at 915 Sagamore Parkway West in West Lafayette.

Dr. Kaul previously served as chief of staff at Logansport Memorial Hospital and as a family physician in an outpatient setting while also caring for nursing home patients at other Logansport locations. Additionally, he held various positions in Monticello, Chesterton and Cass County.

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Kaul earned his medical degree at Government Medical College in Srinagar, India., where he later served as a staff general surgeon and as a general practitioner. He completed a residency in pediatric surgery at JJ Hospital in Mumbai, India. He later completed a family medicine residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital, which is affiliated with New York City’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Hauck most previously served as a nurse practitioner in Lafayette and cared for a range of patients, providing education to them on topics of wellness, diseases and medications management. Before that, she worked as an RN in skilled nursing facilities and helped develop and train others on the deployment of an electronic medical records system for an Indianapolis hospital.

Board certified as a family medicine nurse practitioner, Hauck is certified as an advanced practice nurse through the Indiana State Board or Nursing and is also a registered nurse. She received her undergraduate degree in nursing at Indiana Wesleyan University and later earned a master’s (family nurse practitioner) from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
