Todd Bertrand, MD, Bone Cancer Surgeon, Joins Franciscan Physician Network

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - Todd E. Bertrand, MD, MBA, has joined Franciscan Physician Network.

Dr. Bertrand is board-certified in orthopedic surgery. His clinical interest is orthopedic oncology (tumors of the bone and surrounding soft tissues), and he is among only a handful of surgeons in the state with that highly specialized focus and expertise.

He received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Wabash College with honors and earned his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery with Duke University.

Dr. Bertrand later completed fellowships in orthopedic oncology at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute in Tampa, Florida and Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute in Bologna, Italy.

An Indianapolis resident, he has held academic appointments with the IU School of Medicine and the IU Health Simon Cancer Center. He earned a master’s degree in business administration from the IU Kelley School of Business.
