Overview
Hey there! If you're between 16 and 19 years old and interested in healthcare, Franciscan Health Indianapolis has something cool for you! It's called the Explore Healthcare Career Camp (EHCC). This camp happens for one week in the summer and cost is $150 per camper.
At this camp, you can learn all about different jobs in the healthcare field, chat with real professionals, and see what it takes to do the job on a day-to-day basis. It's like a sneak peek into the world of healthcare! You'll do stuff like tour the hospital and meet professionals, job shadow, career exploration, CPR, dissection and more.
The camp runs from June 22-26, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. We will have activities for the campers between the two locations: Franciscan Health Indianapolis (Hospital), and the Franciscan Education Center.

Requirements
To join, you need to be between the ages of 16-19, have at least a 2.5 GPA, submit all documentation needed for camp and job shadow/observation; and be able to attend all week. You also must write a short essay about why you're interested in healthcare and talk about any experiences you've had that make you want to enter the medical field (on the application). Space is limit of 16 spots, so it's a good idea to apply early! Application will close May 1, 2026, at 5pm. Please reach out to me for the shadow application and observation packet to complete. Along with that you will need to submit your ID, TB (with-in 1 year) and your immunization records.
