LAFAYETTE, Indiana – Betty Demko, NP, has joined the staff at Franciscan Physician Network Infectious Disease Lafayette as an infectious disease specialist. Their offices are located at 3920 St. Francis Way, Suite 220, Lafayette.

Board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Demko most recently served as a medical surgery/renal/oncology patient care coordinator at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. She was the lead staff nurse in opening an eight-bed acute dialysis unit and was education coordinator for a competency program to help nurses and ancillary staff maintain their skills.

Demko received her diploma in nursing from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing and Bachelor of Science in nursing from Purdue University Calumet. She earned her Master of Science in nursing from Walden University.
