Carlos Vasquez Named Vice President And Chief Operating Officer For Franciscan Health Crawfordsville

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Indiana - Franciscan Health Crawfordsville recently named Carlos Vasquez vice president and chief operating officer.

Vasquez is now responsible for both Franciscan Health Crawfordsville and Franciscan Health Rensselaer. He has served in leadership at Franciscan Health Rensselaer for over eight years as the vice president and chief operating officer.

"I am humbled to begin this role in Crawfordsville," said Vasquez. "There are many similarities between Crawfordsville and Rensselaer and I will be able to use my experience to hit the ground running. There is an incredibly talented team of physicians, surgeons, nurses and staff in Crawfordsville, who I look forward to getting to know and working with, as we continue to provide exceptional care to our neighbors in Montgomery and surrounding counties."

Last December, Franciscan Health Rensselaer was named 'Business of the Year' by the Greater Rensselaer Chamber of Commerce and Vasquez was awarded the 'Citizen of the Year' honor by the organization for his contributions to Rensselaer in 2023.

He was a committed driver and partner to Appleseed Childhood Education, which last year opened a high-quality childcare facility on the Franciscan Health Rensselaer campus. 

Vasquez also holds multiple board seats and engages in numerous civic groups, including: Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, the Knights of Columbus, Jasper County Economic Development Organization, the Indiana Chapter of NAHLE and the IHA Council on Rural Health.
