LAFAYETTE, Indiana - Franciscan Health Lafayette and Purdue University Extension will be hosting Walk with a Doc (WWAD) on Tuesday, March 12 and Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Northend Community Center in Lafayette. Each event will begin at 10 a.m.

Walk with a Doc is a one mile walk that begins with a brief health talk by a physician or clinical staff member, about a topic related to their field. Participants will have access to a few simple screenings.

The Walk with a Doc program was created to encourage healthy physical activity in people of all ages and to reverse the consequences of a sedentary lifestyle geared toward improving societal health and well-being.
