Franciscan Health Lafayette East Achieves Primary Stroke Center Certification With ACHC

LAFAYETTE, Indiana - Franciscan Health Lafayette East has achieved certification for its Primary Stroke Center through Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) for the services of stroke care.

Certification is a process through which healthcare organizations demonstrate compliance with national standards. Certification by ACHC reflects an organization's dedication and commitment to meeting standards that facilitate a higher level of performance and patient care.

Being a Primary Stroke Center, Franciscan Health Lafayette East has the required infrastructure and protocols in place to stabilize and provide rapid care. 

The facility has also met specific guidelines as a Primary Stroke Center, featuring a comprehensive system for rapid diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients admitted to the emergency department.

ACHC is a nonprofit organization that has stood as a symbol of quality and excellence since 1986.
