RENSSELAER, Indiana - Franciscan Health Rensselaer will be hosting a QPR: Suicide Prevention Course on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. Central at the Rensselaer Public Library. The two-hour course is open to all.

QPR is an entry-level suicide prevention course that teaches the signs of suicide and how to ask someone about suicide. Question, Persuade and Refer, or QPR, is a widely taught gatekeeper training course. Like CPR, QPR is an emergency system that can help someone in a crisis save lives.

The course will be led by Alicia DeWitt, MS, LMHC, NCC from Targeted Counseling LLC.
