Franciscan Health Therapy Services Crawfordsville Will Move To New Facility

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Indiana - Franciscan Health Therapy Services Crawfordsville is in the process of moving to a new outpatient therapy facility, offering expanded services.

The new facility, which is a re-purposed freestanding building on the Franciscan Health Crawfordsville campus, came to fruition, thanks in part to the generosity of Dr. Hamid Ardalan and Mrs. Soori Ardalan. The building is named in honor of Saltanat Moez Ardalan.

A blessing and dedication of the space was recently held, officiated by Father David Buckles. The blessing and dedication of the therapy facility is an important religious ritual in the opening of a new Catholic healthcare facility. The ceremony honors the mission of the Franciscan Alliance ministry: Continuing Christ's ministry in our Franciscan tradition.

"Thanks to the generosity of the Ardalan family, we have been able to expand the reach and scope of our therapy services in Crawfordsville," said, Shannon Heitmiller, director of sports medicine and rehab services, Franciscan Health Western Indiana Division. "We have a great team in place, who will have the opportunity to provide enhanced services to our neighbors in Crawfordsville and the surrounding communities."

Measuring approximately 3,300 square feet, the facility is more than 1,000 square feet larger than the therapy facility it replaced and has parking at the front of the building. 

Franciscan Health Therapy Service Crawfordsville offers physical, occupational, neuro, speech and massage therapies to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly, with any medical condition in which restoring lost skills and attaining maximum self-sufficiency are priorities.
