Islam Bolad, MD, Joins Franciscan Physician Network Cardiology Lafayette

LAFAYETTE, Indiana - Cardiologist and internal medicine provider Islam Bolad, MD, is now part of Franciscan Physician Network Cardiology Lafayette and is accepting new patients. 

Dr. Bolad earned his doctorate from the University of London in England. He completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed additional fellowship training in cardiac electrophysiology at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center at Tufts University School of Medicine in Burlington, Massachusetts.

He is board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Bolad's clinical interests include coronary artery disease and management of patients with angina and heart attacks, structural heart disease, valvular heart disease, hypertension, heart failure, heart transplant, cardiomyopathies and arrhythmias and peripheral vascular disease.
