Nearly 200 Franciscan Health Physicians Listed Among Indianapolis Monthly 'Top Docs'

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - Nearly 200 Franciscan Health employed (Franciscan Physician Network) and affiliated physicians in central Indiana have been honored as 2024 "Top Docs" by Indianapolis Monthly magazine in the November issue. 

Professional Research Services Company, based in Michigan, compiled the "Top Docs" list for Indianapolis Monthly using a survey of peers. Physicians were nominated by physician colleagues as well as the doctors' education and professional experience. Active physicians in central and south-central Indiana were eligible and included.

"We are honored and humbled to have another large group of our FPN and affiliated physicians named to the 'Top Docs' list again this year," said Christopher Doehring, MD, vice president of medical affairs for Franciscan Health Central Indiana. "We are very grateful to all of our physicians and staff who work tirelessly day and in and day out to provide the best care possible to our patients.

A question-and-answer piece in the special section featured Gregory Specht, DO, a family medicine doctor at Franciscan Physician Network CityWay Family Medicine. Dr. Specht shared his insight on what he believes is the most important piece of healthcare advice that patients should remember.
