Over 150 Franciscan Health Physicians Listed Among Indianapolis Monthly 2025 'Top Docs'

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - Over 150 Franciscan Health employed (Franciscan Physician Network) and affiliated physicians in central Indiana have been honored as 2025 "Top Docs" by Indianapolis Monthly magazine in the November issue. 

Professional Research Services Company, based in Michigan, compiled the "Top Docs" list for Indianapolis Monthly using a survey of peers. Physicians were nominated by physician colleagues as well as the doctors' education and professional experience. Active physicians in central and south-central Indiana were eligible and included.

A question-and-answer piece in the special section featured Anthony Bashall, MD, a cardiologist at Franciscan Health Indiana Heart Physicians. Dr. Bashall shared his insight on what midlife women should keep in mind when it comes to heart health as well as the difference between men and women when it comes to cardiac care.

A Top Doc Tip from Franciscan family medicine doctor, Kristin Wood, MD, that focused on wellness in middle ages women was also featured.
