LaPorte County Safe Kid’s Day

Safe Kid’s Day is a free, family-friendly community event dedicated to celebrating children, promoting safety awareness, and preventing childhood injuries. Hosted by Franciscan Trauma Service’s Safe Kids NWI Coalition and the La Porte County Family Resource Center at the La Porte County Family Resource Center in LaPorte, Indiana, this interactive event will take place on Friday, July 10, 2026.

Families get to enjoy a day of fun and learning! Our Safe Kids Day event features educational booths and demonstrations led by healthcare providers, first responders, and community partners covering topics such as car seat safety, water safety, fire prevention, and more!

Registration & Prizes

Each registered family will receive a Safe Kids Bag (while supplies last) and can enter to win door prizes. Winners will be announced the following week and do not need to be present to win.

Safe Kid’s Day offers families valuable safety education in a fun, interactive environment, helping build safer, healthier communities.

Registration is encouraged, and attendance is free.
