Overview
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that allows participants to enhance their skills in treating adult victims of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies.
The goal of the ACLS course is to improve the quality of care provided, resulting in improved outcomes. Participants will have the opportunity to perform skills in a highly realistic simulated environment.
The two-day provider course is offered monthly on two consecutive days, meeting 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days. Fee for non-hospital employees is $300.
Requirements
This course is ideal for physicians, nurses, paramedics and other allied health professionals who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of an adult patient whether in or out of the hospital.
