Overview
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Renewal is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that allows participants to enhance their skills in treating adult victims of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies.
This four-hour renewal class emphasizes and teaches the importance of identifying problems and early intervention for adult victims of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergency. The goal of the ACLS course is to improve the quality of care provided, resulting in improved outcomes.
This is a single day renewal course that meets from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost of the renewal course for non-hospital-based employees is $200.
Requirements
Ideal for physicians, nurses, paramedics and other allied health professionals who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of an adult patient whether in or out of the hospital.
If you have not been certified, you will need to register for the ACLS Provider Course.
