Overview
Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) provide immediate lifesaving care to critical patients who access the emergency medical services system. EMRs have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide immediate lifesaving interventions while awaiting additional EMS resources to arrive while performing basic interventions with minimal equipment. A minimum of 50.5 hours of training is required.
EMRs work in a variety of occupational fields, for example:
- Public safety
- Security
- Industrial
- National and state parks
- Missionary/volunteer
- Wilderness groups

- Government-issued identification

- Monday & Wednesday evenings, 5:30 - 9:30PM
